At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, when hospitals across the country faced unprecedented capacity challenges, Beachview Logistics was urgently called upon to support Yale New Haven Health – Bridgeport Hospital in Connecticut. The mission: build a fully functional temporary emergency room facility (Tents) to absorb the overflow of critical patients.
Rapid Response – Air and Ground Deployment
Understanding the urgency, Beachview launched a dual-response mobilization strategy. While convoys of trucks carrying essential equipment and materials rolled toward Bridgeport, we simultaneously deployed a chartered aircraft with our critical logistics management team, ensuring immediate on-the-ground coordination and site preparation before the equipment even arrived. This agile approach allowed us to stay ahead of schedule and begin construction within hours of award.
Hospital-Grade Infrastructure in Record Time
In a matter of days, Beachview built a 32-bed Emergency Room temporary hospital equipped to meet rigorous healthcare standards. The facility included:
