Proactive Planning & Pre-Landfall Staging-

Before Hurricanes Helene and Milton made landfall, Beachview Logistics pre-positioned equipment and resources at multiple locations, including Florida, Georgia, Alabama and North Carolina where we established turnkey staging sites. This proactive approach enabled rapid mobilization into affected areas immediately after landfall, ensuring reliable, ready-to-go solutions for utility crews and emergency responders.

Rapid Deployment Across Georgia & North Carolina

Following Hurricane Helene’s landfall, Beachview executed one of its fastest, most complex mobilizations to date:

  • Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (Brunswick, GA): A fully operational 1,500-person base camp stood up in just 30 hours, complete with power, HVAC, dining, and sanitation.

  • Midway, GA: Within 24 hours, a 500-person lineman camp was established.

  • Louisville, GA: By 72 hours post-landfall, a 2,000-person base camp was fully operational.

  • Asheville, NC: Simultaneously, a 100-person camp supported regional recovery operations.

Each site was delivered with turnkey, reliable life-support infrastructure, including sleeper trailers, mobile kitchens, restrooms, showers, laundry, power generation, fuel, waste services, lighting, and 24/7 operational support.

Shifting to Florida: Hurricane Milton

While Georgia, Alabama, and North Carolina operations remained fully functional, Hurricane Milton struck Florida’s Gulf Coast. Beachview once again demonstrated its rapid deployment and scalable solutions by activating multiple turnkey base camps across the state:

  • Sarasota, FL: 350-person camp for emergency personnel

  • Fort Myers, FL: 1,000-person camp for utility restoration crews

  • Clearwater, FL: 750-person camp sustaining linemen and contractors
